The documented commands are /teleport for player destinations and /teleportto for coordinates. “TP command” is a search phrase: do not assume /tp is a built-in alias. Use an authorized admin account, read your server’s command help and identify who will move before sending a command.
Choose a player destination or coordinates
Decide whether you want to reach another connected player, move one player to another, or move to a known map square. These are different requests. Keep the player being moved and the destination in separate notes; do not experiment on another person’s character because two names look interchangeable.
| Task | Documented chat form | Check before using it |
|---|---|---|
| Move yourself to a player | /teleport "PlayerTwo" | Historical one-name form; verify current help and the destination account. |
| Move one player to another | /teleport "PlayerOne" "PlayerTwo" | PlayerOne is the person to move; PlayerTwo is the destination in the cited support example. |
| Use coordinates | /teleportto X,Y,Z | Use known world coordinates and a verified floor; this is not a named-player form. |

Read the command help before teleporting
Start with the account that is already authorized to administer this server. Being able to join a private world does not establish command permission. If you are a normal player, ask the operator to perform a recovery rather than requesting unrestricted access for one move.
The developer documented the following chat help pattern. It does not move a character. Preserve the exact response: it can distinguish a command your build recognizes from a permissions failure or a mod-specific alias.

Teleport yourself to another player
In the historical developer example, one player argument selects the destination for the character issuing the chat command. Replace PlayerTwo with the exact server account reported by your operator. The quotation marks preserve a name as one argument; do not paste curly quotation marks from a formatted document.
Agree on a reachable destination and ask that player to stand still for the check. After sending one command, confirm the result before sending another. A chat line appearing is not proof that the server accepted the command.

/teleport "PlayerTwo"PlayerTwo is a placeholder for the destination account. Verify the one-name form in your current help before use.

Move one player to another
The cited official support response gives a two-player form. In that example the first named player moves to the second. Replace the placeholders with two distinct, intended server accounts and tell the person who will move what you are doing.
If your live help does not list this form, stop and use the form or administration interface that it does support. A remote hosting panel and a local chat window need not run a command under the same identity.

/teleport "PlayerOne" "PlayerTwo"PlayerOne is moved; PlayerTwo is the destination in the cited example. This is not permission to move an unrelated player.

Teleport to X,Y,Z coordinates
The official Build 35 release notes introduced teleportto for a comma-separated coordinate triplet. A later support response uses the example below. It is a syntax illustration, not a recommended destination: choose coordinates you have checked in the actual world, especially on custom maps or a different floor.
Do not treat a town name, an image pixel location or your browser’s screen coordinates as a valid world triplet. If recovering a trapped character, record the original location and choose a known place with the operator. After moving, wait for the world view to settle and check that the character can move normally. Teleporting does not diagnose the underlying bug.

/teleportto 10000,10000,0Support-provided syntax example only. Replace the triplet with a checked destination; these numbers are not a universal safe square.

Chat, dedicated-server console and single-player are separate
The historical developer instructions distinguish slash-prefixed chat commands from the host console, where the slash is omitted. Use the real game-server console, not a Windows or Linux terminal that is waiting for an operating-system command. Inspect its own help and follow any target-account requirements it prints; a server console does not have your playable character as an implicit destination.
Do not paste the one-name chat example into a hosting panel and assume it has the same meaning. This page does not publish an unverified console-only target/coordinate signature. In single-player, multiplayer chat administration is also not the same workflow; this guide does not require debug mode or provide an untested single-player console recipe.

If the teleport command does not work
- Unknown command: check the exact spelling, input surface, server version and help listing. Do not change /teleportto into /tp solely because a search result says “TP”.
- Access denied: ask the operator to check the current account’s permitted action. Repeating the command or changing coordinates does not grant authority.
- Player not found: compare the intended server account with the actual connected player list. Confirm that neither placeholder remains in the command.
- Wrong player moved: stop and compare argument order with the help output and the cited example before another attempt.
- Coordinate or parsing error: preserve the response, triplet and exact version. Compare punctuation and supported arguments with current help rather than inventing extra parameters.
- No response, or the screen remains broken: collect the server/client message and mod state. Use a separate test world to investigate; do not delete the character or reset the shared save just to test a command.
Record a result another operator can reproduce
Keep a short note with the input surface, exact patch, command form, authorized role, intended character and destination, and the observed response. Mark missing facts as unknown. If you share the note, replace private account names and addresses with clear placeholders.
A useful success check is specific: the intended character moved to the agreed destination and could interact with the world afterward. That does not prove the command is identical on every branch or that the original save problem is repaired. Send corrections through the linked guide-correction page with the version and a redacted observation.
